For Evo, Flash Loading is no longer required. Using the Google Chrome web browser on a Bluetooth compatible computer, you can pair Evo and run programs by selecting the "Programs" icon located on the right side of the screen. You can also connect Evo and run Ozobot Blockly programs through the Evo app (recommended for iPad & Tablet users).
If you are unable to utilize the above, here are some general tips for Flash Loading programs with Ozobot Blockly:
- Remove any screen protectors/covers from your device.
- Make sure you have selected the Ozobot you are using
(Bit+ for Bit+ and Bit or Evo for Evo) under the Ozobot Blockly banner, in the top left.
- Don’t interact with the device during loading. Consider closing background apps, tabs, updates etc.

Increase display brightness up to 100%.

If the device has a “high performance” setting, choose it. Some Chrome/Android devices have these options under Settings. In Windows 10, you can click the battery icon in the Start bar and move the slider towards ”Best performance”. (You can also try plugging the device in a charger, since that sometimes switches performance modes.)

If you are having trouble with glare, try angling the screen, dimming/turning off lights in the room, or rotating your Ozobot so that the front is facing the keyboard.

You may set your flashing speed to slow if you suspect your hardware is unable to keep up with the refresh rate of the screen. This is located in the flashing settings on the right hand side of the workspace.
