Clear Bluetooth Cache on Android Devices for Evo Bluetooth Connection Issues

If you cannot connect with that Evo, then it is possible that the Android's internal BLE cache is corrupt. If you could then follow these steps to clear the cache and then try again. We have experienced this in the past with older Android versions, this is where the specific attributes of a BLE device are cleverly used to identify the device and the android will ignore any "updates" to the device. For any device that can improve over time, this can be a hassle. It's possible that this is what you're experiencing.

Steps to clear the Android cache (and then please try the above again):

    1. Go to settings on Android
    2. Go to apps ("Application Manager")
    3. You might need to change the option to see "system apps"
    4. Find Bluetooth (sometimes this is two programs, do this to both if possible)
    5. Select Storage on each app
    6. Clear cache, then delete data
    7. Stop Program
    8. It will probably restart, if it does, stop program one more time
    9. Power off the tablet, then power it back on.
    10. Try the app and Evo again.
