To take Evo out of Classroom Mode (Evo's proximity sensors will be enabled and Evo's sounds will be audible), you will need the latest version of the Evo app for iOS and Android. Your Evos will need to be updated to the latest firmware version. Once your Evos have been updated:
- Connect Evo(s) to power.
- Ensure your device is connected to the internet.
- Install the latest version of the Evo app on your smartphone or tablet (if you have a previous version of the Evo app installed, you will need to uninstall and reinstall to get the latest version).
- Open the Evo App on your smartphone or tablet and click the “Explore” tab (it’s a good idea to also connect your device to a power source for applying settings).
- Scroll down to Get Inspired and select “Teacher Tools: Bot Settings”, then hit “Start”.
- Next to Classroom Mode, select Off, then select "Update All" (the Evo App will scan the nearby Evos that are connected to power, and apply the setting).
- Once the process completes, remove Evos from power to reset them.
To place Evo back into Classroom Mode (Evo's proximity sensors disabled and Evo silenced), follow the above steps, but next to Classroom Mode, select On.
